The Cheltenham National Hunt festival is the greatest Jump racing meeting. The 2011 festival extravaganza has 4 days of the best steeplechasers and hurdlers competing for the £3 million prize money. The 2011 festival takes place in March and Thursday at The Festival is now designated as Ladies Day. Aside from the racing, there is plenty of entertainment, music and dining on offer to make your day even more memorable.

On Ladies Day there are also awards for Best Dressed Lady, Best Accessories and Best Hat. Presentations for these awards are made before the horses enter the paddock for the first race.

Friday March 18th - Day Four

The final day of the meeting features the Cheltenham Gold Cup and we all await to see if Kauto Star can repeat his success of 2009, or will Denman avenge his defeat against his stablemate following a season blighted by injury. The Triumph Hurdle and Albert Bartlett Hurdle race are other really good races on the final day of the 2010 Cheltenham Festival.

Tuesday March 15th - Day One

First Day of the Cheltenham Festival race meeting features six equally fascinating events including the Champion Bumper which is a flat race run under National Hunt rules and the showpiece event, the Queen Mother Chase. The later of the two, the Queen Mother Chase is often viewed as one of the bookmakers most feared races, as favourites tend to perform exceptionally well in this event.
